The APSA (American Pet Savers Association) has announced that over $10,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded in the Cutest Dog Photo Contest including a $1,000 cash grand prize.

Dog owners are welcome to win their share of the prizes. The deadline for the contest is February 15, 2007. The contest is open to everyone and entry is free.

“Dog lovers are constantly snapping photographs of their furry friends,” stated Rosa Bonbeur, contest chairperson. “Our contest gives people a chance to receive cash, prizes and worldwide exposure for their favorite cutest dog photos. Unlike other contests, your dog’s bloodline or pedigree doesn’t matter with us”, continued Bonbeur. Winning photos may be published in an internationally distributed pet photo book or in the club magazine.

To enter, send one photograph (full color or b/w) any size along with 2 loose postage stamps. All photo entries must include the photographer’s name and address on the back. Photographs should be sent to: Free Photo Contest, P.O. Box 1908 - Dept. PRW, Pittsburg, KS 66762. Entries must be postmarked by February 15, 2007. Only one entry per household is accepted. However, the photo may contain more than one pet and more than one pet type.

The American Pet Savers Association is an organization dedicated to stopping cruelty to dogs. Members are located in every country around the world. Membership in the organization is not necessary to participate in the contest and the entry is free. The organization sponsors the photo contest each year as a way of drawing attention and to provide a forum for people to show off their dogs.
